Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth is a major production for FX; so major that its scale apparently surpasses that of last year’s huge FX hit, Shogun. Via Variety, the new series will exist "in parallel" to the existing Alien cannon, prompting speculation that the show will ignore Ridley Scott’s prequel films, Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. In other news, Brütal Legend devs honored rocker Ozzy Osbourne by making the game free for exactly 666 minutes. Osbourne died earlier this week, weeks after performing his farewell concert. Osbourne also appears in Brütal Legend as the Guardian of Metal. And finally, we check in with the co-stars of How to Train Your Dragon as they ride Hiccup’s Winged Gliders at Universal Epic Universe.
