Cities Skylines 2 launches next week on PC as the follow-up to a game that had a veritable pile of DLC.
The sequel can’t match that at launch, so the devs set some particular priorities for what to include this time around.
"We absolutely cannot have ten years of Cities Skylines 1 content done" for launch, Colossal Order CEO Mariina Hallikainen says.
They decided to focus on "those things that we feel should have been in the original…"
That means, day one we’re getting natural disasters, day-night cycles, and snow!
Plus, access to specialized industries like farming, lumber, mining, and oil.
