Microsoft has struggled to sell Xbox Series consoles this generation. They don’t have enough boxes in the wild to make platform exclusives a viable concern anymore. Can we realistically see a future where Microsoft ever have a bespoke platform you want to own ever again? Eurogamer’s Jim Trinca dives into all this and more and asks the question: Is this the end of game consoles as we know them?
