Bluepoint games, the developers of such fan favourite remakes as Demon’s Souls Remake and Shadow of the Colossus remake, have been shuttered. Bluepoint have been the face of the remaster / remake on PlayStation, establishing their expertise early on with the Nathan Drake Collection and God of War Collection, many fans hoped to see Bluepoint take on the often requested Bloodborne Remake. Alas, it was not meant to be, as Sony have shuttered them following their cancellation of the then-in-development God of War live-service game… yes, we know, bad idea for a game that nobody asked for.
