Dragon’s Dogma 2 captures the magic of the original. Exploring the vast open world with your pawn companions is endlessly engaging, filled with secrets to uncover, treasures to hoard, and thrilling battles that devour hours. However, similar to its predecessor, the quest design and overall polish could use some refinement. It’s a safe sequel that prioritizes the core gameplay strengths, but also inherits some of the rough edges.
