Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet doesn’t have an official release date, but according to Bloomberg, the game may not make it out until 2027 at the earliest. That would make it seven years into the life of the PlayStation 5, and there’s a good chance Sony will have already announced the PS6. Could Intergalactic be withheld from the current-gen PS5 and be a launch title for the PS6? And would that mean Naughty Dog has missed the PS5 generation entirely, outside of remakes and remasters? Speaking of release dates, CD Projekt has confirmed that the upcoming The Witcher 4 will not be released earlier by the end of 2026, which means another 2027 release date at the earliest. And finally, Nintendo has one last Direct aimed specifically at the Switch 1, a week before the big Switch 2 reveal in April. We may finally get the deep dive on Metroid Prime 4 that we’ve been waiting for.
