Larian CEO has been ‘reading the Reddit threads’ and wants us to remove our tinfoil hats.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is finished, and the news has more than a few people looking for someone to blame.

Speculation online is that Wizards of the Coast did something to scupper its relationship with Larian.

But Larian CEO Swen Vincke has now come out to say that’s not the case.

"WOTC is not responsible for us taking a different direction," wrote Vincke,

"On the contrary, they really did their best and have been a great licensor for us."

Maybe it really is the case that Larian simply wanted to leave Faerûn behind.
