A legend is brought back to life with Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, in a surprisingly sensitive remake from Konami featuring developers from the original. In painstakingly remaking every possible aspect of the original in Unreal 5, without embellishment or messing around with its core appeal, and adding only the lightest touches of modernisation as garnish, MGS Δ stands as a loving tribute to the original MGS 3 and a great jumping on point for new players.
Where should Konami go after MGS Δ? We’d love for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty to get the same treatment, as it is easily as popular as MGS 3 if not more so. We’d also love to see a new edition of MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots, as it is currently stuck on the PS3 and deserves to be freed.
