We’ve finally had some decent hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2 and now feel read to answer a simple question; Is the Nintendo Switch 2 good?
There are lots that owners of the original Switch will be deeply, pleasantly familiar with, but there are lots of little tweaks within that familiarity – and some of them surprisingly consequential. The top line though is that, despite Nintendo not changing the formula too much, we love the Switch 2 and we’re glad it’s here. Whether it’s the new Joy-Con controllers, the new Switch 2 LCD screen or the improved power in the Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay, we’re loving it so far.
After a weekend of playing with the Switch 2, we’re still very excited about it. A new Nintendo console, with a bunch of games you already love, and a bunch of little things that may change the way you play and connect with old friends. And there’s the promise of new things to come, of course, but whether you think a slightly refreshed version of something you already own is worth the hefty £400 price tag, considering the litany of hidden costs you’ll also need to plump for, however, is up to you and your wallet.
