Pocketpair's CEO explained just how little experience the team had before making the smash hit 😅

As if 2023’s historic volume of gaming layoffs wasn’t enough, 2024 is starting in the exact same vein.

A message from Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer to employees says 1,900 employees are being laid off.

Alongside the layoffs, Blizzard President Mike Ybarra announced his departure from the company.

Ybarra expressed his honor in leading Blizzard and stated his intention to support those impacted by the layoffs.

The layoffs coincide with Blizzard co-founder Allen Adham also stepping down and the cancellation of a survival game project.

Phil Spencer says the company will "provide our full support to those who are impacted during the transition”
