The first image from the new Amazon Prime Video Tomb Raider TV series has been released and it shows the Lara Croft, played by Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones fame as the titular heroine. The outfit design calls back to the original Tomb Raider trilogy from the PlayStation 1 (PS1 / PSX), which obviously inspires speculation about the sources that the Tomb Raider TV show will pull from. Are we going to see Dinosaurs like in Tomb Raider 1? Or will the tone be more in line with the dark and gritty reboot of Tomb Raider from the 2010s like the Alicia Vikander Tomb Raider movie from 2018?
Time will tell, but we’re definitely eager to learn more about the Tomb Raider Prime Video show.
