Styx: Blades of Greed Review - The Antidote to Ubisoft Bloat

Styx: Blades of Greed is the best entry in the Of Orcs and Men spin-off series so far, but more importantly than that, it’s a triumph of the double-A or “b-tier” game. With nowhere near the resources of an Assassin’s Creed, it manages to wipe the floor with Ubisoft’s flagship series in one key aspect: it’s a proper stealth game. With a lean semi open-world and Metroidvania structure, Blades of Greed is a sneaky thief playground full of opportunities for creative play and outside the box thinking. For our money it’s the best stealth game in years. Find out exactly why in our review!

Styx: Blades of Greed is out now, a stealth game on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. It’s a direct sequel to 2017’s Styx: Shards of Darkness, but you don’t need to have played any of the Of Orcs and Men series of games to understand it. You just need to enjoy sneaking around.
