In today’s Daily Fix:
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy thinkgs GTA 6’s grip on gaming culture won’t let up even into next year, when he says GTA 6 2 will launch. Via Bloomberg, Clancy said we’ll see a "big bump with GTA 6," but also another huge one when multiplayer drops next year. Rockstar has not formally announced their GTA Online plans post-GTA 6, but it’s all but inevitable GTA Online continues with GTA 6 as the framework, much like how GTA 5 was the foundation for GTA Online. Parent company Take-Two, for its part, is ready to support the current iteration of GTA Online as long as gamers want to keep playing it. In other news, The Blood of Dawnwalker will get a New Game+ mode eventually, according to the game’s director. And Gen-Xers and Millenials rejoice! Toys ‘R’ Us is making a big retail push this holiday season, opening 120 new standalone stores that will cater to nostalgic adults and today’s content creators.
